Ingredients
200 g semi-sweet chocolate
150g butter
200g sugar
3 eggs
1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
100 g wheat flour
1 pinch of salt
Optional we can add chopped almonds or walnuts and chocolate chips.
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and lightly grease a baking pan.
- In a heatproof bowl, melt the chocolate and butter together in the microwave or over a double boiler, stirring occasionally until smooth and completely melted.
- Add the sugar to the melted chocolate and mix well. Let the mixture cool for a few minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the vanilla essence and mix until well blended.
- Sift the flour and salt over the chocolate mixture and stir gently until incorporated. If you are using additional nuts or chocolate chips, add them now and mix.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared mold and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
