Welcome to our culinary haven, where we explore the wonders of festive cooking. On this occasion, I’d like to share with you a culinary treasure that will make your table shine at any celebration: the “Perfect Roast Turkey.” Yes, it’s that dish everyone eagerly awaits, and with the right recipe, it becomes the heart of the party.

Ingredients:

 

  • Whole turkey (approximately 5 kg)
  • Salt (10 g)
  • Black pepper (5 g)
  • Butter (200 g)
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, sage)
  • Garlic (6 cloves)
  • Chicken broth (500 ml)

Steps:

Preparing the Turkey:

  • Let’s start with love and care. Preheat the oven to 180°C and give your turkey a good wash and dry.

Seasoning the Turkey:

This is where the magic begins. Mix salt and pepper with tenderness, seasoning the turkey both inside and out. Add fresh herbs and garlic cloves to the cavity for an extra flavor boost.

Buttering Up:

Butter is the secret to a perfect golden finish. Spread butter lovingly over the turkey’s skin, preparing for a masterpiece.

Roasting the Turkey:

  • Place the turkey on its throne (the roasting tray) and pour in the chicken broth to keep it juicy. Into the preheated oven it goes, calculating about 20 minutes per kilogram of majestic turkey.

Basting the Turkey:

Every 30 minutes, open the oven and baste that majestic turkey with its own juices for a flavor that will make you smile.

Resting Time:

And now, the most challenging part: let it rest before the grand presentation.
